United Community Unit School District #304 is located in west-central Illinois. The district encompasses 363 square miles and is comprised of 3 campuses: a North Campus located in the town of Alexis, which houses a PK-5 elementary building; a West Campus 12 miles to the west, which houses a PK-5 elementary building and a junior high school; and a South Campus 12 miles to the south, which houses the high school building. Community members from Henderson, Knox, Mercer and Warren counties play an active role in meeting the needs of our district. We are proud of the administration, faculty, staff, students, parents, and community members who make up our school community. Welcome to our home page. We welcome your presence as you browse our web site for more information about our school, the home of the Red Storm.5th-10th Grade Parents: Student Netbooks are being collected for the summer at this time. Please make sure that your child brings his/her netbook and charger to school and turns it in to Mr. Eyler (grades 6-8) or the high school computer lab (grades 9-10). 5th grade netbooks will be collected at the discretion of Mrs. McKenna, and Mrs. Leng. Check the Elementary web pages for specific dates. If your child owes a netbook repair fee, please pay it by the end of the school year; otherwise, it will be added to the registration fees in August. Students moving out of the district over the summer must pay any outstanding netbook fees before records will be sent to the new school the student will be attending. Thank you!

Parents have the option of receiving text messages from the school concerning school-related information, in addition the voice and email messages you are currently receiving. You must opt-in to receive this service, as there may be additional charges for text messaging based upon the contract with your phone company. To sign up for the text messaging service:
- Visit the portal of the United School District ALERTNow text site at www.alertnowsms.com
- Enter United's six-digit PIN: USD304, and click Opt-In
- Provide a primary and a optional, secondary phone number
